Art4Rom: Partnership Meeting in Naples
From May 12 to 13, 2014 all Art4Rom Project Partners (International Yehudi Menuhin Foundation, ETP Slovakia, MUS-e Hungary, MUS-e Napoli, Union Romani, The Mosaic Art and Sound, M.G.R. International Consultancy a European Roma Information Office) met in Naples, Italy.
Also Slávka Mačáková and Lucia Hrubá from ETP attended the fifth Art4Rom meeting. Together with partners from seven countries they visited the primary school Ammaturo in which artists from MUS-e Napoli mediate art to Roma and non-Roma pupils by using Art4Rom educational methodology. Innovation of the methodology lies in the use of different kinds of art in the school enviroment.
Teachers and children prepared final joint program for the guests. The 90 minute programme consisted of music(al), singing and dancing performances and recitation with presentation of Roma culture.
